Martin Luther King Jr. day is less than a week away and the MLK Scholarship Fund is very busy with various event in Zanesville over the coming days.

This Friday is the first of these events, the 21st Annual Ethnic Food Fair, held at Zane State College at 11 AM. For ten dollars, taste goers will experience a variety of cuisines.

We're down to the wire for those that haven't yet registered to vote.

October 9, the Board of Elections will be open until 9p.m. to give everyone time to register and cast their ballots. Saint Paul A.M.E. on Pine Street is providing transportation to the Board of Elections for anyone anyone needing to register or vote.

"We do not care who you're supporting," said Organizer Kathy Brantley. "We would just like the community to have an opportunity to do so."
