 Former Zanesville Blue Devil and current Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Kevin Martin has returned to his old stomping grounds to host his 6th annual basketball camp.

"This camp is just one of my favorite weeks of the year because it shows how much involvement the community puts into myself and me into the community," said Martin. "It's a win-win for everybody. It's an unbelievable relationship that we have."

Zanesville native Kevin Martin has been through contract negotiations before but for the first time it wasn't to resign with his current team. The former Blue Devil became a free agent Monday and now has a new home according to multiple reports.

Minnesota has agreed to a four year contract with Martin worth between 28 and 30 million dollars. The terms of the deal have not been released officially but Martin would be making close to seven million dollars annually.

A deal that did not come at last years trade deadline has finally been completed for Zanesville's Kevin Martin. Late this evening it was confirmed by league sources that Martin along with Jeremy Lamb and future draft picks were shipped to Oklahoma City in exchange for James Harden, former Buckeye Daequan Cook, Lazar Hayward, and Cole Aldrich.

Make no mistake, Kevin Martin will never forget his roots. The Zanesville native is set to begin his eighth season in the NBA, plenty of time to cut and run from this city if he chose to do so. It has now become official, the Sacramento Kings have dealt Zanesville native Kevin Martin in a three team deal that involves eight players. Martin will head to the Houston Rockets along with Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries from the Knicks. The Knicks will get Tracy McGrady from Houston and Sergio Rodriguez from the Kings.
