Every year the Knights of Columbus organize a dinner cruise for hospitalized veterans. Organizer Bill Moyer said the delicious meal keeps them coming back for more.
"Dinner is going to be mashed potatoes, chicken, noodles, peas and rolls with butter," said Moyer. "We enjoy doing it as much as these guys enjoy being here."

On Sunday the K of C will be hosting the 28th annual Ladies Knight Out. Co-chairman Tom Sullivan said that the event is a great way to show that special someone how much you care.
"It's a special night to treat our wives and significant others to a nice night out, for all they do for us while we're here doing our charitable work," said Sullivan.
It might not be Veterans Day, but those who served our country were honored at Zane's Landing Park today.
The Knights of Columbus organized a dinner cruise aboard the Lorena Sternwheeler for hospitalized veterans. Chairman Bill Moyer said the veterans enjoy homemade food and good company.
"You'll notice that they're very happy because they don't get out that often, so when they do, they really love it," said Moyer.

Some local adults got the chance to feel like kids again this evening. The Kiwanis Club of Zanesville hosted a corporate pinewood derby race at the Knights of Columbus, Sunrise Center. The event served as a fundraiser to support Kiwanis's child-oriented programs.
