Rambo Memorial Health Center employees met with the county commissioners to ask that their annual levy is put on the ballot for November.

Rambo Executive Director, Crystal Bebout says that the health center has been on the ballot since 1961 and has yet to fail. She says supporting the organization is important because they provide unique and helpful programs for the community.

A local school district passes a levy with a record setting approval rate.

The East Muskingum School District passed a 1.3 mill renewal levy on Tuesday. It provides emergency requirements for the district for the next 5 years. Superintendent Jill Johnson says community support made the difference.

A special election was held Tuesday in Guernsey County for an 8.62 Mill Levy for the East Guernsey Local School District.

One local volunteer fire department may be shutting down.

The Frazeysburg Volunteer Fire Department is encountering severe budget issues due to a clerical error by the village. The Ohio Revised Code changed the deadline for levy submissions which went unnoticed by local officials. It's now leaving the fire department to suffer financially.

The Muskingum County Home will remain open.

Voters passed the 2.5 mil levy by around 200 votes in yesterday's primary, and Commissioner John Bates couldn't be more pleased.
