Licking County announces a new dog warden for Licking County.
Current Licking County Animal Control Officer manager John Silva takes over the position October 1, 2010. Commissioners said that the hiring of Silva will allow the county to conserve resources and focus on developing international assets.
Silva brings over 32 years in animal control and leadership experience along with more than 19 years as Chief Dog Warden in Cuyahoga County.
The Licking County Sheriff's Office says deputies are looking for a suspect involved in a home invasion.
