A Utica man accused of embezzling more than $1 million from several area businesses is arrested in Muskingum County.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports that around 10 a.m. Friday, 43-year-old Mark Cherubini was arrested on State Route 586 by Muskingum County  Sheriff's deputies and Licking County detectives.

A robbery suspect in Licking County gets away with less than $100 from a pizza store.

Authorities continue their search for a man who robbed a Dominos Pizza Store in Pataskala around 4pm Monday.

Sheriff's detectives said the white male entered the store and demanded money from the register after brandishing a small handgun.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Pataskala Police Department assisted in the search for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.

Licking County Authorities are looking for a person of interest in the murder of a 37-year-old St. Louisville resident.

Authorities said they were sent to 419 South Main Street in St. Louisville around 7pm Monday in regards to a possible shooting.

When deputies and officers from the St. Louisville Police Department arrived they found Katherine Russ deceased in the residence.

The man responsible for a home invasion in Thornville is found dead after a self-inflicted wound. Neighbors say the quiet street in Licking County where it happened, wasn't so peaceful following the invasion.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office says that around 7p.m. Wednesday, 21-year-old Jade Rosato-Garey entered the home of Karen Skeen at 11625 Mount Hope Road, and pointed a gun at her making demands. She then fled from the home, along with Garey who ran into the woods....

A man suspected in a Wednesday night home invasion is found dead.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office said that around 7pm a masked man entered the home of Karen Skeen at 11625 Mount Hope Road in Thornville. He pointed a handgun at Skeen and gave orders which she didn't follow.

Instead, she ran out the back door of her home to escape. The suspect 21-year-old Jade Rosato-Garey ran from the home into the woods.

Licking County is investigating a suspicious death.

Sheriff's deputies said the found 55-year-old Hershel Louis Roberts dead at 6657 North Street Road in McKean Township around 2pm Monday.

Detectives are awaiting the initial autopsy results and the death is under investigation at this time.

Authorities in Licking County arrest another suspect in connection to a May aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

The sheriff's office said 22-year-old Richard Scott was arrested Monday in Columbus.

Detectives said that Scott along with two others met Joel Caudell, from Indiana, on the internet, lured him to Columbus where they robbed him and then drove to Licking County and dumped him in a ditch.

An area foster mother faces sexual battery charges for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old male.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office arrested Marcina Samberson on Sunday after receiving a tip from Tuscarawas County Children Services.

A Licking County Sheriff's deputy is taken to the hospital after a two car collision last night.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. on State Route 16.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says Deputy Earl Bowen was traveling west on State Route 16, approaching an intersection with active lights and sirens, when he was struck by David Harriott of Granville. He was traveling south on Kendal Road. The Granville Post says Harriott failed to yield.
