The Mega Millions lottery drawing is Tuesday night with the prize around $556,000,000.

Monday at Mother Tucker's Carry Out on Sharon Avenue, Gene Davis says that he bought five tickets hoping to win big and he told us how he would like to use the money.

"What would I do with it? I would use it to pay off my bills and retire how does that sound, " said Davis.

It's the biggest jackpot for any lottery.  Mega Millions broke a new record of $540 million on Thursday.

Jim Pitcock has already sold more than 1,000 tickets so far at the Mother Tucker's gas station on Sharon Avenue in Zanesville.

A New Concord man is cashing in on a winning instant lottery game.

Jimmie Hines won $100,000 on the Ohio Lottery's Black Pearls scratch off game.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31%, Hines will receive a check for $69,000.

Hines purchased the winning ticket from Cambridge News & Carryout located at 527 Wheeling Avenue in Cambridge.

The retailer receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.

A $5 scratch off lottery ticket has changed the life of one local teenager

Mother Tuckers off Sharon Avenue in Zanesville sold a $25,000 Supercash, lottery ticket. The winner is 19-year-old Andrew Tipton and he has big plans for the money.

A Zanesville man is an instant winner thanks to the Ohio Lottery. Andrew Tipton won $25,000 on the Supercash game. Lottery Deputy Director of Communication Jeannie Roberts says after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Tipton receives a check for $17,250 dollars. Tipton purchased his winning lottery ticket at Mother Tucker’s at 1132 Sharon Avenue in Zanesville.

One lucky group of workers from Genesis Healthcare System struck gold -- literally.

Eighteen employees of the healthcare system hit the Mega-Millions lottery, winning $250,000.

Tammy Bertke and Mary Jane Love are two of those winners. They say they didn't expect it.

"I was in shock. Surprise, happiness, we're elated. I couldn't believe it," said Bertke.
