A motorcyclist dies following a crash in South Zanesville.

It happened around noon on Maysville Pike near Coconis Furniture.  South Zanesville Police Chief Eric Finley said a J&R Electric truck collided with a motorcycle that was part of a funeral procession.

"We just talked with the witnesses," said Finley.  "The State Highway Patrol is assisting me with documenting the accident scene.  We'll talk to more witnesses and the other driver....

Road conditions cause a crash that sent two people to the hospital and shut down part of a Zanesville roadway Tuesday night.

Around 8:15 p.m., the Zanesville Police Department received a call that a northbound Buick and a southbound Blazer collided at the railroad underpass on the Maysville Pike. 

According to Patrolman Jeremy Barnhart, there was an oily substance on the road that caused the crash.

Two people were sent to the hospital following an accident on the Maysville Pike Friday afternoon.

South Zanesville Police Chief Eric Finley says it happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Maysville and West Main street, in front of Campbell's Foodland. A three vehicle accident sends one person to the hospital.

Zanesville Police Officer Sandy McElhaney says around 2 p.m. a Dodge truck rear-ended another Dodge truck that in turn hit the back end of a Ford truck in front of Cummins Insurance Agency off the Maysville Pike.

An accident involving a motorcycle sends one person to the hospital.

It happened on the Maysville Pike around 6:15 p.m. in front of Eaglesticks Golf Club.

Trooper Stephen Williams of the State Highway Patrol says that a Mazda Miata was traveling West on the roadway when it slowed for a car that was turning ahead.

A two-car accident closed the Eastbound lane on Maysville Pike.

It happened around 5p.m. at the intersection of Maysville Pike and West Main Street. Patrolman Chris Andrews with the South Zanesville Police Department says the collision occured with a two door Ford Escort and a four door Chevy Trailblazer.

A Roseville man appeared in court Monday for charges stemming from an April accident that sent five people to the hospital.

Charles Keith III pled not-guilty to two third-degree-felony charges of aggravated vehicular assault, two misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, two misdemeanor charges of child endangering and one charge of not following lanes of travel.

Five people are injured after a two-car collision on Maysville Pike Friday evening.

It happened just before 5 p.m.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol Sargeant Chuck Merryman, a silver Chevrolet truck was going eastbound on Maysville Pike/US-22 and a Black GMC Jimmy was traveling westbound.

There was a four-car-accident on U.S. 22 around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

This accident involved four cars and happened in front of the Fink's Harley Davidson store. It shut down the left westbound lane of the road.

According to the South Zanesville Fire Department, all of the cars were traveling westbound when one car rear-ended the car in front of it and caused a chain-reaction.

No one was injured in that crash.
