The Muskingum County Community Foundation is having its 27th annual Groundhog Day Fundraiser.
Executive Director David Mitzel says the event has been a success in the past and he expects the same this year. On January 27th, guests can enjoy silent and live auctions and food from 12 different caterers. Mitzel says they generally raise 45-thousand dollars in one evening.

As March approaches, the time for students to finalize their college plans draw near.
And, for many students, college can be one of their biggest expenses.
That's why the Muskingum County Community Foundation is offering four scholarships to help.
One is the Bucci-Dietz Scholarship.
