The McDonald's Monopoly game is back and area residents are being asked to get involved in the fun.

The Zanesville area McDonald's Restaurants are partnering with WHIZ radio to put on a Monopoly treasure hunt.

"We are hiding this giant deed at different locations or landmarks through Zanesville, one each day Tuesday through Friday," said Operational Supervisor, Chad Lawson.

McDonald's held a grand re-opening of one of its' Zanesville restaurants Thursday night.

A ribbon cutting ceremony at the Maple Avenue location included Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton and other local officials.

McDonalds on West Pike had to be evacuated Wednesday evening after the play area filled with smoke.

The Fire Chief of Falls Township Fire Department, J.D. Johnson, says when he arrived on the scene he did not see flames, but there was heavy smoke in the play area.
