A motorcyclist is seriously injured after an accident on State Route 83.
It happened near Lookout Road around 4:45 p.m.
The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says the driver, Robert Hartenstein was traveling north on State Route 83.
"He took this turn too fast, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, was ejected, and the bike came to rest in the southband lane of 83, " says Trooper Adam McKenzie.
