The Military Families Support Group of Zanesville and Muskingum County formally introduced an ongoing project that will be displayed at the John McIntire Library.

On Monday they unveiled the Veteran's Memorial Project to the public. It took four years of research to compile the eight binder series. Each one includes local history of area veterans.

The community is showing it's appreciation by thanking area soldiers.

The Muskingum Valley Red Cross hosted the third annual Military Family Fest at the Zanesville Municipal Airport. A variety of resources were available for military members and their families. The them this year was "thank you'.

The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is preparing for its Military Family Fest next month.

Staff say the recent nine year anniversary of September 11th has really made them aware of the sacrifices our troops make every day.

A morning accident could spell problems for American Electric Customers in the Military Road area.

Zanesville Police says a van crashed into a power pole at the intersection of Military Road and Sandhurst minutes after 8 Wednesday morning.

Police say that there are lines down in the south lanes and the power pole is snapped in half.

An accident late Thursday afternoon sent one car off the road and the driver to the hospital.

It happened around 4:30 Thursday.Sergeant Chris Phipps with the Zanesville Police Department says the white cavalier failed to yield at the stop sign at Military and North Pointe and pulled out into traffic and hit the silver corolla.
