Millersport's Annual Sweet Corn Festival concluded Saturday night. With over 100,000 ears of corn sold during the four day festival. There needs to be a reliable way to husk all that corn, and quickly too.

The 68th annual Sweet Corn Festival in Millersport concluded this evening.

The festival which started Wednesday serviced over 100,000 people from all over the region. The Millersport Lion's Club hosts the festival every year. Over the past four days The Lion's Club served over 100,000 ears of sweet corn. All the corn served is grown in Ohio. Seven area fire departments responded to a house fire early this morning in Perry County 

The family-built home located at 3147 Cooperriders Road, just North West of Somerset, belonged to Jim and Judy Vatter. Somerset, Thornville, Thirsten, Millersport, Licking, National Trails, and Hopewell Township fire departments as well as the State Fire Marshal and the Red Cross were on scene.

The 65th annual Millersport Sweet Corn Festival wrapped up Saturday. The celebration attracts between 200 and 300,000 people and is said to be "ear-resistable."

"Come and get your sweet corn," is the call that'll bring hundreds of thousands to the one stoplight town of Millersport, Ohio.

Crowds are gathering to sink their teeth into some sweet corn.

The Sweet Corn Festival in Millersport wrapped up Saturday evening, which is operated by non-profit charitable organizations. The Apostolic Christian Church assisted the Lion's Club in serving freshly cooked corn to the public.

"They bring in two semi loads of corn each year, we take it off the truck, we run it through the husker, and then the people at the table finish husking it, clean the silk off...
