 A traffic stop in Perry County leads to the discovery of a mobile meth lab. 

The Perry County Sheriff's Office said it happened just after 7 p.m. Wednesday. 

A sheriff's deputy stopped a Ford Explorer on Dutch Ridge Road in Pike Township. The occupants of the vehicle were suspected to be involved in an aggravated assault that occurred earlier in the evening.

A plastic bottle with remnants from a mobile meth lab combusted this past weekend, and sent a West Muskingum High School student and teacher to the hospital.

Captain Tony Coury of the Zanesville Police Department says it happened just past ridge road along U.S. 40 around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Two students along with the teacher were picking up trash along the roadway for a volunteer project.

A Zanesville man pleads guilty as charged Monday in connection with a mobile meth lab.  27-year-old John Campfield Jr. was charged with illegal assembly of chemicals for manufacture of drugs with a juvenile specification.  Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation.  Campfield, his 25-year-old wife Stephanie Campfield and 30-year-old Atassia Burkett were arrested in January on Linden Avenue in Zanesville.  Authorities say they discovered a mobile meth...

More information is being released on a rolling meth lab made in Zanesville this weekend.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said on Saturday Patrolman Joel Tigner stopped a vehicle on Linden Avenue and Lee Street. Upon approaching the vehicle Tigner said a 2-liter bottle, plastic hosing and starter fluid cans - all items used to produce the drug - were in plain view.

A Zanesville man is facing charges in connection with what authorities are calling a "Rolling Meth Lab”.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said 48-year-old Terry Boyd was arrested Tuesday night around 9:30 at Love’s Travel Stop on Sonora Road.
