Authorities in Morgan County say a body discovered earlier this week has been identified as that of a recent shooting victim.
According to a press release from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, investigators identified 36-year-old John Davis III through fingerprints and tattoos.
His body was found Wednesday at the edge of a creek near Bald Eagle Road in Windsor Township.
A preliminary autopsy report shows that Davis died of a single gunshot wound...

Bacterial meningitis is suspected in the death of a Morgan County pre-schooler and has been confirmed in another pre-schooler who is now hospitalized in Columbus.
