Monday at Mother Tucker's Carry Out on Sharon Avenue, Gene Davis says that he bought five tickets hoping to win big and he told us how he would like to use the money.

Ohio Lottery players can expect to pay twice as much for their chance at a big cash prize.

Players of the Ohio Lottery's Powerball drawings will see ticket prices go up from one to two dollars. With the doubling in price comes a doubling of the jackpot as well, which will start at 40 million dollars. Ohio residents will no longer have to drive to neighboring states to take part in Powerball.

The popular multi-state lottery game with a starting jackpot of $20 million is going on sale in the Buckeye State Friday. Local retailers are getting prepared for the customers wanting to take the 1 in 195 million chance of winning the jackpot.

A $5 scratch off lottery ticket has changed the life of one local teenager
