A motorcycle accident has claimed the life of a Junction City man.

The crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. Saturday in Fairfield County.  According to the Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 67-year-old Buryl R. Shortly before 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, officers from the Heath Police Department responded to an injury accident involving a car that was struck by a motorcycle on Kaiser Drive. Alex Arel, 22, of Wapakoneta was thrown from his motorcycle. He was transported to Licking Memorial Hospital then flown by Life Flight to Riverside with significant, but apparently non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

A motorcycle accident on Maysville Pike sent a rider to the hospital Monday afternoon.

The accident occured shortly before 1 p.m. when the cyclist, who isn't being identified at this time, slipped on gravel and lost control while traveling through a traffic light. A motorcycle accident on US 40 in Hopewell Saturday evening, took the life of a Newark man.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident was caused after a deer darted in the middle of the roadway around 6:15, in front of the motorcycle, driven by 38-year-old Ryan Longstreth of Newark.

Two people were sent to the hospital Monday afternoon following a motorcycle accident on North River Road.

The accident happened  just after 4 p.m. Monday afternoon between Samara and Lovers Lane in Washington Township. Lt. Matt Boyd of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says three motorcycles were heading back to Cleveland after sight seeing in Muskingum and Morgan Counties. They were traveling northbound on SR 93 when the third motorcycle, traveling behind the other two, crashed into a Ford pickup truck.

Authorities are on the scene of a two vehicle accident on Adamasville Road.

It happened just before 4:30 p.m. Monday between Samara and Lovers Lane in Washington Township.

The State Highway Patrol is reporting that a motorcycle struck a Ford truck.

The Washington Township Fire Department is also on the scene.

Authorities have shut down the roadway due to the accident.

Coshocton County Sheriff's officials investigate an injury accident that took place Wednesday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to State Route 206 minutes after 6p.m. Upon arrival they found that a 1999 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by 62-year-old Henry Beard, of Logan, had wrecked on State Route 206 at Township Road 358.

Deputies said that Beard lost control of his motorcycle and went off the right side of the roadway.

Two people were taken to the hospital after a motorcycle accident near Chandlersville.

New Concord Emergency Personnel and the State Highway Patrol responded to the call around 4 p.m.

Trooper Stephen Williams said a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling on State Route 313 near Tom lane.

The bike went off the road and both the driver and passenger were ejected.

An early Monday afternoon accident sent one man to the hospital.

The Highway Patrol, Frazeysburg, and Licking Township Fire Departments responded to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. on State Route 146 west.

Trooper Todd Henry said Charles Whyde was east-bound on his motorcycle and went off the road when he swerved to miss a vehicle turning onto Creamery Road.
