Area girl scouts are making sure local developmentally disabled residents have a good Christmas.

Girl scout troop number 60247 hosted the second annual Christmas dinner at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

"We're having a Christmas party for MRDD residents in Muskingum County," said Troop Member Emily Burdette. "Our troop leader's daughter has MRDD too. We decided to help them for our silver award."
