Five local charities received checks from the proceeds of this year's souper bowl event. The five beneficiaries are: Eastside Community Ministry, Muskingum County Center for Seniors, The Salvation Army, Fellowship of Christ's Community and Christ's Table.
The annual event in October raised almost fifteen hundred dollars for the five charities. Divided by five, each organization received almost three thousand dollars and those funds can go a long way.
