A local fundraiser provided monetary donations to five service organizations in our area.

Seniors have an opportunity to receive fresh produce through the Ohio Senior Farmer's Market Program.

The program provides coupons to low income seniors so that they can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables free of charge. Officials with the Muskingum County Center for Seniors met Thursday with the County Comissioners to discuss proposals for the construction of a new facility.

The first step of the process is to issue bid requests to evaluate community feedback. Then decide if the project is realistic.
