The Superintendent of Muskingum County Starlight Programs met with County Commissioners Thursday.

They discussed the possible decrease in the amount of tax dollars the organization receives from a levy. It could be as much as $2.5 million.  Superintendent John Hill says he feels the residents of Muskingum County appreciate their financial responsibility.

Representatives from the Muskingum County Starlight Programs met with the County Commissioners to discuss the levy revenue, current spending, and future plans.

Muskingum County Starlight Programs currently has two levy's continuing, one is 3 mils, the other 2 mils. County Commissioners are considering reducing the 3 mil levy by 1.5 mills. The Muskingum County Starlight Program had a pep-rally for their division four basketball team. The Tigers will take on Hamilton West Side Jets Friday night at The Ohio State Recreational Physical Activity Center.
