The Muskingum Recreation Center is one step closer to completion. A groundbreaking ceremony took place today on the Ohio University Zanesville campus. The multi generation facility will aim to improve health, wellness and physical fitness for community members.

Rainshowers from earlier in the week created some muddy conditions, but that didn't stop runners today...

For local kids Science Week exploded to a finish at Zane State College.

The camp has been in action for three weeks, providing students with hands on interactive science. "Science Guy" Daryl Baines, was the highlight of the program, spending the past three days instructing kids on dissecting cow hearts, robotics, and finally wrapping up the fun-filled week with a presentation.

1:16 Tuesday afternoon, marked the official start to summer, but even rain clouds couldn't keep the kids from having their summer fun.

Over 60 children took part in Science, Art, and Physical Education camps held at the Muskingum "Y" on Tuesday...
