A drive across the Y Bridge just got a little more colorful.

A couple of years ago, an idea was born to beautify one of Zanesville's historic landmarks. That dream has now blossomed into a reality. After today, 16 flower baskets now sit on top of they Bridge's lamp posts.

Area gardeners are donating their time to make downtown Zanesville a little brighter this summer.

The Muskingum Valley Garden Society spent Tuesday afternoon filling the planters on Main Street, at the Welcome Center and in front of City Hall.
