A pro-life group held a rally in Zanesville to raise awareness about abortion.
The Muskingum Valley Right to Life organization sponsored a prayer circle and demonstration along Maple Avenue.
Those in attendance at the annual event stood on the sidewalk and waved signs as people drove by.
"We believe that every life is important born and unborn and we're just praying that someday it will be ended," said Helen Fedorke.

If you were driving down Maple Avenue this afternoon you couldn't miss the more than 100 people lining the streets with signs.
The Muskingum Valley Right to Life organized today's Zanesville part of the National Prayer Chain. According to organizers prayer chains like this ocurred from 2:30 til 3:30 pm in cities across the nation.
