Newark Police said they've concluded their investigation into a subject that entered a local gas station with blood on his arms, clothing, legs and shoes.

The Newark Division of Police reports around 10:30 am on March 19, a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Wilwood Ave. A female suspect then used a stolen credit card from the purse to buy items at Walmart. A store security camera took pictures of the suspect.

Newark Police need help in catching those involved in a series of August business break-ins.
The break-ins took place between August 16 and 17th and against on August 24 through the 27th. Businesses affected included the Subway and Dairy Queen on North 21st Street, Jeff's Laundromat on Mount Vernon Road, Paco's Tacos on Cedar Street and Lee's Famous Recipe on North 21st Street.
Cash was taken from some of the businesses.

The Newark Police Department said that semi trucks aren't allowed on a Newark roadway during construction.
Public Information Officer Sergeant Scott Snow said that due to construction on State Route 13 there is no semi tractor trailer or large truck traffic permitted between State Route 16 to the south of Deo Drive to the north.
Trucks should use north 21st Street.
This construction is scheduled to continue through July 3rd.
