The parking lot of the North Terrace Church of Christ saw a little extra horsepower on Saturday.

The church hosted its first ever Car, Truck, and Bike Show to help raise money for the church's missions trips.  The first time for the event, coordinator Larry Eby said he didn't know what to expect but was very pleased with the response.

Clothes, furniture, electronics and other household items were all sold at an event on Saturday, with one exception..everything was free.

Volunteers at North Terrace Church of Christ keep busy preparing for a huge even taking place Saturday.

Tables filled with items including clothing, shoes and electronics will be given away during the Free Stuff Giveaway. This is the 12th year the church has put on the event.

Organizers said some years they have 2,000 people come through the line others 200, but the purpose is always the same.

A local church came to the rescue when an outreach program needed help with construction.

The Heartbeats of Muskingum Valley is facility that counsels young women through their pregnancy and advocates healthy sexual practices. They are in the process of opening their business on the second floor of the Old Jack Havana's Restaurant off of Muskingum Avenue. To open on schedule they needed assistance from the community. One local church is hitting the course for Christ later this month.

The North Terrace Church of Christ is now accepting teams for the annual "Fill the Course for Christ" golf scramble on Saturday, August 25th At the Crystal Springs Golf Course in Hopewell.

A church's congregation helps out their community through giving.

Starting next week, Brandywine Boulevard in Zanesville will be closed as crews fix a culvert that collapsed over a year ago.

Brandywine Boulevard will be closed starting Tuesday, May 29th, between Fairway Lane and Northpointe Drive.

If you happened to be up early Saturday morning by the North Terrace Church of Christ in Zanesville, you might have thought it was Black Friday.

It was the 12th Annual Community Free Stuff Give-Away put on each year by the Church. Lead Minister Bill Meaige encourages church members to give up doing the typical summer garage sales and instead donate the items to the church and those less fortunate.
