A two vehicle accident on Newark road Tuesday morning sent one person to the hospital.

It happened just after ten a.m.. Zanesville Highway Patrol Sergeant Chuck Merryman says 26 year old Zachary Taylor of Duncan Falls was headed eastbound on Newark road in a 1995 Ford Escort, when he struck a semi that was attempting to turn onto Newark road from Old Newark road.
