Two Girl Scout Cadet Troops teamed up with Operation Spirit to provide stockings for soldiers at home and abroad for the holidays.

Troop 183 Leader Abby Corder says her cadet troops and the 159 troops, decided to use their funds not for themselves, but for a good cause and help those who are fighting for our country.

It may sound strange to hold a yard sale in February, but a Zanesville non-profit organization is hoping the weather won't keep people away.

 A fundraiser was held Saturday afternoon to help Operation Spirit support the troops. The "Bags and Boots Gala" fundraiser featured th items in a whole new way. Handbags and purses were transformed into gift bags filled with knick-knacks and incentives, while boots were mostly stuffed with floral arrangements. The goal was to turn ordinary into extraordinary, by taking everyday items and adding flair to make them one of a kind.

Operation Spirit in Zanesville is gearing up for a fundraiser this weekend that will support the troops. An organization is recognizing the selflessness of the community...

With the ten year anniversary of September 11th upon us, you have the opportunity to help our troops.

Mona Taylor of Zanesville passed away Wednesday, August 31st. To commemorate her, family members, in connection with the Bryan-Snider Funeral Home have set up a donation box to support Operation Spirit.
