(ZANESVILLE) -- A hat trick from Amman Lalusa proved too much for the Zanesville, as West M picked up the win 3-1 on Saturday.  Freshman Doug Welker provided the Blue Devils only score in the losing effort.  It's the first win of the year for the Tornadoes, and the first defeat of the season for ZHS.

Melanie Poorman has made a decision on her college future by signing with Youngstown State to play college basketball. Poorman, who is gearing up for her senior year at Maysville, chose the red and black over Wright State, West Liberty, and her older sister's home at Ashland. Poorman has also been a four-year starter with the Panthers of Maysville.
