A 24-year-old Zanesville man involved in Tuesday's high speed chase is charged.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol met with the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office for a grand jury conference. The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is working to make more than just the streets safer.

Starting soon, the reserve force of the sheriff's office will patrol the bike path between Dresden and Zanesville.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Post in Fairfield County has moved. It can now be found on State Route 188, near the recently constructed US 33 Bypass.

Lieutenant Gary Lewis says because US 33 is a highly traveled road to and from Columbus, this location change gives troopers better access to the road. It also will ensure that the patrol can provide assistance to drivers at a quicker rate.

While many people will be wearing green and celebrating St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office will be out in force making sure everyone is staying safe.
