A 12-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car Thursday afternoon.
It happened on Indiana Street around 4:30. According to the Zanesville Police Department the boy was on a bike crossing Indiana from an alley when he was struck by a Chevy Cavalier driven by 17-year-old Harry Krouskopp.
The boy's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The accident remains under investigation.
The South Zanesville Police is investigating an accident involving a pedestrian who was struck by a car.
It happened shortly after noon Thursday at the intersection of Maysville Avenue and Main Street near Campbell's .
Initial reports say 62-year old David Harrop of Philo suffered a head injury.
Harrop was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and later flown to Grant Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

A pedestrian is med-flighted to Children's Hospital in Columbus after an accident.
It happened around 5 p.m. this evening. Witnesses on the scene say a thirteen-year old was outside with friends horsing around.
"He went to go reach in to one of my friend's pockets and she turned around and he fell over his bike," said Michael Joseph, a friend of the pedestrian hit. "The car tried to swerve and she hit him."
