Firefighters battled a blaze at a home near Zanesville on Sunday.
Perry and Washington Township Fire Departments responded to the call around 4:30 p.m. at 3985 Boggs Road. Captain Adam Siddle says the fire likely started in the basement of the home.

A home on Airport Road in Muskingum County caught on fire Wednesday.
Crews were called to 350 Airport road shortly before one Wednesday afternoon. Perry Township Fire Chief Bruce Sindeldecker says the fire was primarily confined to a back doorwall.
