Firefighters battled a blaze at a home near Zanesville on Sunday.
Perry and Washington Township Fire Departments responded to the call around 4:30 p.m. at 3985 Boggs Road. Captain Adam Siddle says the fire likely started in the basement of the home.
"Neighbors called 911 advised that there was smoke coming from the structure and Perry Township got here and attacked the fire did a really good job of knocking it out, very, very small fire and minimal damage to the home,"...
