The Zanesville man charged in connection with killing a man and trying to burn his body will appear in court Tuesday morning.

The Zanesville Police Department announced Wednesday afternoon, it caught the main suspect in the murder of 24 year old, Phillip Kimbro Jr.

Captain Tony Coury says, ZPD's Detective Bureau and Special Response Team received information earlier on Wednesday, that 19 year old, Shaquille Davis of Zanesville, was in an apartment in the north end of town.

There's little information being shared about an investigation into a burned body found last week in Morgan County.

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office said the body of 24-year-old Phillip Kimbro Jr was found Thursday, July 25. Tuesday a home on Ayers Street in Zanesville was raided in connection to the investigation into his death.
