The 2010 Philo Electrics will enter the season with a new coach, a new quarterback, and a completely renovated stadium. Will it end the drought in Duncan Falls? Jeremy Rauch has the preview.
Football seaons has kicked off in Southeast Ohio and local teams are gearing up for their season opener which happens in less than a month. Over the next few weeks WHIZ will take an inside look at all the Muskingum Valley League schools along with Bishop Rosecrans and Zanesville in our annual two a day team previews. There are a number of things you can do to pass the time during your summer break: get a job, sleep in, hang by the pool or go on vacation - all perfect activities for the months of June and July. However, the football team of Philo high school selected none of the above on a Thursday morning in East Zanesville. In a bid during a fundraising event for the Muskingum County Animal Shelter, the Electrics were elected to pair up with "Big Dawg Farms" to do a little landscaping.
