Entering Tuesday night, the Zanesville Blue Devils were 3-3 on the road, and 3-3 when scoring less than 49 points. At the Cats Lair in Cambridge, the Blue Devils pushed both of those marks to 4-3, beating the host Bobcats 45 to 38. Absence apparently does more than make the heart grow fonder. It makes the Zanesville Blue Devils better. After not playing at Winland Memorial Gymnasium for 25 days, the Blue Devils, in the third to last home game ever at Winland, score 60 points for the first time at home since December 18th, beating Piketon 66-54. The seventh annual "Classic in the Country" featured twenty games over three days, none more important to people in this area than game number 19 on the slate, Tri-Valley vs. Youngstown Boardman. The lady Dawgs coming in ranked fourth in the state, the Spartans 17th, boasting Ohio State commit Darryce Moore. Tri-Valley was not phased though, beating Boardman 55-51, behing 23 points from senior Carly Young.
