What started as a gathering by the river thirty-five years ago has become a sold out affair. Pottery Lovers group is hosting their reunion, show and sale starting Tuesday morning at the Holiday Inn Express on Spring Street. Members of the group have opened their rooms, giving the public a chance to glimpse and even purchase pottery from around the nation.

The Ramada Inn is hosting the annual Pottery Lovers Reunion. Vendors and collectors have set up their various pottery pieces throughout the hotel. This year's theme is unusual shapes and unique pieces.

Beginning pottery enthusiast throughout the nation will come to Zanesville.
The annual pottery week celebration serves as a reunion for collectors of pottery. The 10 days of festivities will include sales, auctions, trades and events. The Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce's Lori Kappes said, more than 500 people will attend.
