American Electric Power reports outages from Tuesday's freezing rain and Wednesday's wind in Muskingum, Coshocton, Morgan, Perry and Licking counties Tuesday.
In Muskingum County 350 customers are without power. Coshocton County reports 925 customers without power and Licking County reports 2,229are without service. In addition Morgan County reports over 300 customers without service while Perry County has over 400.
There are some power outages to deal with this morning (Wednesday) in our area. American Electric Power says 223 customers are without service in Coshocton County and another 207 are in the dark in Morgan County. A-E-P says the outage in Coshocton County was caused after the wind knocked down a tree into power lines. Most customers there should have power restored by 9:00 Wednesday morning. In Morgan County most customers should be back on-line by 12 noon.
American Electric Power says three area counties are dealing with power outages today. In Perry County just over 2800 customers are without service. In Muskingum County there are 660 customers without electricity and in Morgan County there are 566 customers without service. No word on what the problem is or when power will be restored.
Severe weather has caused power outages throughout the area.
As of 10:30 p.m. American Electric Power reports customers in multiple counties without power. In Muskingum County 845 customers are in the dark, 1,594 in Coshocton, 4,956 in Guernsey, 4,791 in Licking and 801 in Noble County.
And the South Central Power Company says 10 Noble County households are without power.
