American Electric Power reports outages from Tuesday's freezing rain and Wednesday's wind in Muskingum, Coshocton, Morgan, Perry  and Licking counties Tuesday.

In Muskingum County 350 customers are without power. Coshocton County reports 925 customers without power and Licking  County reports 2,229are without service. In addition Morgan County reports over 300 customers without service while Perry County has over 400.

There are some power outages to deal with this morning (Wednesday) in our area. American Electric Power says 223 customers are without service in Coshocton County and another 207 are in the dark in Morgan County. A-E-P says the outage in Coshocton County was caused after the wind knocked down a tree into power lines. Most customers there should have power restored by 9:00 Wednesday morning. In Morgan County most customers should be back on-line by 12 noon.

American Electric Power says three area counties are dealing with power outages today. In Perry County just over 2800 customers are without service. In Muskingum County there are 660 customers without electricity and in Morgan County there are 566 customers without service. No word on what the problem is or when power will be restored.

A transformer fire is left some residents without power on Monday morning.

The fire took place around 3a.m.

American Electric Power reports that 820 customers in the area of Dietz Lane were without power, while crews worked to fix the problem.

The Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative is reporting outages caused by Tuesday's storms.

They said Wednesday, that 250 consumers are without power in Muskingum, Guernsey and Tuscarawas Counties.

All crews continue to work on restoring power along with two additional crews that have been called in to assist.

They expect those customers to have their electric back on by dark Wednesday.

Storms moving through the area have created power outages in its wake.

These are the latest numbers from American Electric Power for Thursday morning.

Muskingum County: 313

Guernsey: 3,836

Licking: 2,047

Noble 583

Coshocton 502

Morgan 510

Fairfield 536

AEP reports as of 10:30 Wednesday night that at the latest Coshocton customers should have power by 11am Friday, while Cambridge, Newark and Zanesville areas are slated for 12:00pm Friday...

Severe weather has caused power outages throughout the area.

As of 10:30 p.m. American Electric Power reports customers in multiple counties without power. In Muskingum County 845 customers are in the dark, 1,594 in Coshocton, 4,956 in Guernsey, 4,791 in Licking and 801 in Noble County.

And the South Central Power Company says 10 Noble County households are without power.

This evening's storms are putting some people in the dark.

AEP is reporting the following power outages:

-Muskingum County: 515

-Guernsey County: 1,518

-Perry County: 172

-Morgan County: 100

-Licking County: 322

-Fairfield County: 227

American Electric Power is reporting a large power outage across Muskingum County affecting some of the Zanesville area.

Right now there are 2,619 customers without power due to a squirrel that got into the substation. The areas affected include West Main Street and Schaum Avenue as well as others.

AEP reports that the power should be back on by 11 Wednesday morning.

Storms rolled through the area Wednesday night causing power outages throughout the area.

American Electric Power is reporting more than 505 Muskingum County customers are without power, more than 1400 in Perry County and more than 4,000 in Licking County.

The South Central Power Company says that more than 300 Perry County customers are without power.

The Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative says they have six scattered outages, but at this time they...
