Three cars were involved in a late-morning accident on the 6th Street Bridge Wednesday.
The accident happened just after 11a.m. at the intersection of Putnam Avenue and Muskingum Avenue of the south end of the bridge.
The Zanesville Police Department tells WHIZ that a silver Chevy Impala traveling west-bound on Muskingum Avenue ran a red light and crashed into a red Chevy Blazer trying to turn left onto Putnam Avenue.

Firefighters spent much of the night battling a major house fire in Zanesville.
Zanesville Fire Chief Dave Lacy said they got the call just after 1:00 Friday morning that a vacant house was burning at the corner of Putnam and Lincoln.

A man was grazed by a gunshot Friday on Putnam Avenue in Zanesville.
