Three cars were involved in a late-morning accident on the 6th Street Bridge Wednesday.
The accident happened just after 11a.m. at the intersection of Putnam Avenue and Muskingum Avenue of the south end of the bridge.

Zanesville Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Thomas said he received the call around 9 PM at 1216 Putnam Avenue.
"When we got here, we found the residence full of smoke," said Thomas. "It turned out that the dryer had locked up and overheated. It started a fire inside the dryer and smoked up the house."
