With her sister graduating from the University of Dayton and fresh off two straight ncaa tournamnet appearences junior to be Kari Daugherty decided to transfer and today she made it official by signing on the dotted line with Ashland. In Daugherty the Eagles get a player that was coming into her own averaging six points a contest in her two seasons with the Lady Flyers. At the start of the season, Rosecrans head coach Todd Rock said there would be at least a few blemishes on the Bishops record after 20 regular season games. It's the same thing coach Rock has been saying for the past 18 years, and each time his prediction rang true. Even in the 1997 run to the state championship when Rosecrans went 26-2, there was a loss in the regular season. The first time Zanesville and Tri-Valley squared off, the Blue Devils cruised to a 20 point victory. Tuesday night in Dresden was a much different tale. After scoring only 30 points in the entire game January Eighth at Zanesville, the Scotties had 31 with 1:39 remaining in the third quarter, taking a nine point lead into the final frame.
