The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced a road closure that will affect our area next week.

On Monday August 11, Kimes Road in Zanesville will be closed at the intersection of US 40 near West Muskingum High School. Crews will be working from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in order to replace a culvert. The road will reopen the same day around 4:00 p.m. weather permitting.

A couple of road closures have been announced in Muskingum County for this week.

Clay Pike Road will be closed Monday, June 30, 2014 for cross culvert replacement. This closure will be between South Pleasant Grove Road and Fulkerson Road from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weather permitting.

The Zanesville Department of Public Service has also announced that Market Street will be closed from the intersection of 2nd & Market and continuing west to the end of Market Street...

The Muskingum County Engineer's Office announced that Meadow Farm Church Road will be closed on Monday, June 23rd for cross-culvert replacement.  The closure will occur between Coopermill Road and Old Coopermill Road from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

 The Muskingum County Engineer reminds residents that Green Valley Road will close next week. 

The roadway will close on Monday April, 21 for a seven week bridge replacement. The closure occurs between State Route 313 and Pine Lake Road. The engineers offices asks you to plan your route accordingly and allow more time to reach your destination. 

The project length will be weather permitting.

Zaneville's Public Safety Director hopes to have South Sixth Street open to traffic by the end of the week.

Fred Buck says the Sunday morning fire that destroyed a historic building posed a threat to firefighters after it was discovered the flames had burnt straight from the first floor to the roof in the back of the building. The Zanesville Public Service Department announces a road closing.

Officials say on Thursday, Muskingum Avenue will be closed between Putnam Avenue and Washington Street for two days, weather permitting, for telecommunications work.

Southbound traffic on the 6th Street bridge will be limited to one lane during the Muskingum Avenue closure.

Motorists should use an alternate route.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is reporting a road closure.

Salt Creek Drive will be closed on Thursday, March 15 from approximately 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree removal between Burnt Mill Road and Wilhelm Road.

Please use alternate routes.

Other repairs will take place between Deer Path Road and Mast Road with flaggers using one-lane traffic control.

There's a road closure to warn drivers about Tuesday October 25th.

The Muskingum County Engineer's Office says Salt Creek Drive will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a cross-culvert replacement.

The closure will occur between Burnt Mill Road and State Route 146. Drivers should use alternate routes.

Some road repairs will be made in downtown Zanesville this coming Monday.

The City's Department of Public Service says 9th Street will close from Main to Marietta for ashphalt resurfacing for the day.

The city advises motorists use 8th street for the northbound detour and 7th Street for the southbound detour.

The road will be closed just Monday weather permitting.
