There is a new deputy director at District 5 of the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Joe Rutherford introduced himself to the county commissioners Monday morning and briefed them on new projects for 2011.

"We should have great relationship with elected local officials and elected public officials at all levels and since I am the new person here and as a sign of respect and curtosy I try to stop out at each county," he said.
