The Ohio Department of Natural Resources announces upgrades to one of the Ohio's largest state parks. 

In a press release ODNR Director James Zehringer said that improvements will be made to the Sugartree Marina. Using capital improvement funds, the department will renovate the marina by redecking the dock as well as renovating the concession building. 

This work will be completed in stages to not disrupt service to the public.

The 2013 Creature Weekend Conference is this weekend at the Salt Fork State Park Lodge in Cambridge. The three day event has art and drawing contests, a place where people can share their own evidence and a midnight Bigfoot lantern tour.

The Guernsey County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a body at Salt Fork State Park.
 

Authorities say 52-year-old John Gholl of Cambridge was found shot to death near the edge of the water by a boater around 8:15 p.m. Monday.
 

Gholl's money and his personal ID were found beside him.
 

The Sheriff's Office crime scene team and B.C.I. are investigating.
