The announcement that the Muskingum County Home is going to close is bringing out a lot of emotions from area residents.

One area woman is using Facebook as one way to try to keep that from happening.

Tracey Blevins said her father, Larry Gibson, who suffers from Alzheimer's is a resident of the home.

Blevins created the Facebook page, "Save the County Home."
