The rising cost of college can be stressful for students, but scholarships can help lower the price tag.

The Zanesville Rotary Club presented the Phoenix Award to several outstanding Muskingum County seniors.

All of the students were selected for overcoming some obstacle in school, whether it be health related or academically. The award acknowledges their hard work and efforts.

Johnathan Wisecarver is a recent graduate of Tri-Valley High School. It costs a lot of money in this day and age to further your education by going to college, and Zane State College wants to help. It held its 24th annual Golf Outing at Eaglesticks this afternoon.
