The District Nine Science Day took place at the new Zane State Science and Technology building on Saturday.

Andrea Ross is the recipient of both the Judge Perry B. Jackson Scholarship that was established in 1991 and the Minority Business Association Scholarship that is provided by funds collected at the annual Ribfest.
