An Ohio Senate Bill sponsored by Republican Senator Troy Balderson, of Zanesville, to help provide funds for job training and workforce development passes the State Senate.

Senate Bill 1 which Balderson sponsored with fellow Republican Bill Beagle authorizes a revolving fund which will provide loans to Ohioans who need additional job training.

The State Senate and Representatives are gearing up for budget talks.

While Zane State works to build its new technology center more money is coming its way for the facility in Cambridge.

The State Controlling Board released $1m for the construction of the Energy Training and Education Center in Guernsey County. This center will be an expansion of the Zane State College on the Cambridge Campus.
