At the start of the season, Rosecrans head coach Todd Rock said there would be at least a few blemishes on the Bishops record after 20 regular season games. It's the same thing coach Rock has been saying for the past 18 years, and each time his prediction rang true. The first time Zanesville and Tri-Valley squared off, the Blue Devils cruised to a 20 point victory. Tuesday night in Dresden was a much different tale. After scoring only 30 points in the entire game January Eighth at Zanesville, the Scotties had 31 with 1:39 remaining in the third quarter, taking a nine point lead into the final frame. New Lexington had the MVL Tournament all but wrapped up before the finals started but still were able to place four wrestlers on the top of the podium today. With the win the Panthers earned their ninth staright MVL Championship and did so in impressive fashion.
