A local yard sale helps buy area kids school supplies.

The Avondale Youth Center is hosting event Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st from 8 a.m. to about 5 p.m. Avondale Youth Center Leader Sherry Holdstein said there's plenty of stuff and you pick the price.

"Everything is on a donation. Nothing has a set price. You can take and pay whatever you want for however much you get," Holdstein said.
