An 11-year -old boy has passed away following a tragic incident involving a gun.

According to Muskingum County Sheriff's Department Lieutenant, Mike Lecocq at approximately 3:30 p.m. their office received a 9-1-1 call that male juvenile had been shot in the chest by another male juvenile at 43 First St. in the village of Frazeysburg.

"Our detectives are here working this and the Muskingum County Coroner has just arrived as well we should be in a better state sometime...

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says a 10-year-old boy is dead after a shooting incident today in Frazeysburg.  Lutz says a 3:40 this afternoon dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call stating that a male juvenile shot another male juvenile in the chest area. It happened at 43 West First Street. No other details have been released. The Dresden Police Department is assisting the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

At 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning, the sheriff's office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a disturbance on Coshocton County road 410 approximately a half mile from the intersection of Coshocton County Road 9. According to the sheriff's office, a caller stated there were gunshots fired after an argument broke out. Three men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Newark.

Newark police say 18- year-old Dacian Cabiness, 19-year-old Dequan Harrison, both of Newark and 34-year-old Willie Desmond Qirat of Canal Winchester were taken into custody Friday at a home in Columbus.
 

Detectives also recovered several firearms believed to be involved in the shooting that injured 28-year-old Brandon Elliot.

"Only yellow tape remains at the scene of a shooting that took the life of 35- year-old,  Isaac Thomas and now his family and law enforcement are looking for justice.

Thomas' girlfriend of three years and the mother of his youngest child, Jenna Starkey says that although Thomas was far from perfect he was a good person. She says he should still be alive to watch his son Maddox grow up.

At around 9:15 Wednesday evening, dispatchers alerted local police to a shooting on Spangler Drive.

An ambulance was also dispatched to the location at around the same time. The Zanesville Police Department and Muskingum County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene. Officers were still at the residence at 10:45 Wednesday evening.

Timothy Daniel, the man accused of shooting and killing 61-year-old Charles Hooper at the South Zanesville Burger King on Oct. 31, represented himself in the courtroom Tuesday.

Zanesville police have released more information about a shooting incident on Sharon Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Captain Tony Coury says at around 4:15 p.m. officers were dispatched to a house at 1614 Sharon Avenue, where they arrested four people. Coury say this is not the first time that officers have been called to this address.

What started out as breakfast, ended in a fatal shooting.

At 9:45 a.m. Thursday morning, Muskingum County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call about gunfire at the Burger King on Maysville Pike. When deputies arrived, they found 61-year-old Charles M. Hooper lying on the floor. The Zanesville man and Burger King regular was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriff Matt Lutz says Hooper was killed in front of customers and Burger King employees.

***Update****Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says deputies have taken one man into custody.  Deputies are also towing a vehicle from that location.
