A Zanesville man is still in serious condition after a shooting early this morning.
Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says 36-year old Trever Carson was shot several times in the back after an altercation. It happened just before 1 a.m. this morning at 5971 National Road.

Zanesville Police are investigating an early morning shooting near Good Samaritan Hospital.
Lt. Bill Shaw says 19-year-old Joseph Schilling II of Zanesville was walking on Adair Avenue around 2:00 a-m when a man in a black mask and black coat shot him in the leg with a handgun.
