A Zanesville man is in custody in connection to a stabbing incident at a church.
Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox said 25-year-old Kerron Brantley is facing up to 16 years in prison if convicted. He's charged with one count each of attempted murder, felonious assault, breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools and tampering with evidence.

Police said that around 11p.m. Wednesday night they responded to a residence in regards to a man being stabbed. Upon arrival police found a 33-year-old man sitting on the front porch with two stab wounds to the left side of his face.
Police have a suspect but won't release his name until formal charges are filed. The suspect lives at the same residence with his girlfriend and the victim.

Lutz says it happened as a result of a domestic dispute between the brother of a female and her husband. The Sheriff says the husband was stabbed in the leg. Both men could face charges. No other details were released.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a stabbing incident that happened during a robbery. Sheriff Tim Rogers says on Tuesday 39-year-old Paul Bridges III of Coshocton was walking north on 6th street when he was confronted by a male. Bridges told deputies he was stabbed several times and his wallet was stolen.
