A Zanesville man has been indicted in connection with a stabbing at an area church.  Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says that 25-year-old Kerron Brantley has been indicted on one count each of attempted murder, felonious assault, breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools and tampering with evidence. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says one man is in custody after a stabbing Wednesday morning near Norwich.  Captain Jeff LeCocq says it happened just after 8:00 a.m. at 165 Sundale Road.  LeCocq says his office received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting yelling and screaming from the Sundale Road residence.  LeCocq says when deputies arrived they were met by an adult female who had been cut by a male.  The suspect fled on foot and was later tracked by a...

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing incident.  It happened Wednesday morning on Sundale Road.  Not many details are being released but we are being told the stabbing victim was not fatally injured.  Deputies on the scene tell Whiz News that the stabbing suspect is in custody. Deputies say he was captured on Moose Eye Road a short time after the stabbing incident.  More details are expected to be released soon.

A Zanesville man is in custody in connection to a stabbing incident at a church.

Zanesville police are investigating a stabbing incident. Investigators say it happened Monday around 11pm at Larzelere Aartments... Which is part of the Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority. Reports indicate a woman was stabbed, and was taken to the hospital. She was treated and released. More details are expected to be released.

A man is sentenced to three years in prison for his part in a robbery where the victim was stabbed.

25-year-old Steven Adams of Zanesville received the sentence Monday from Judge Mark Fleegle in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. He had pled guilty to aggravated robbery in December.

According to the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office, Adams and 23-year-old Jamie Storts stabbed John Hannahs at his home on Roseville Road in Avondale during a robbery in November of last year....

Cambridge police investigate the stabbing on the city's northside.

Police said that around 11p.m. Wednesday night they responded to a residence in regards to a man being stabbed. Upon arrival police found a 33-year-old man sitting on the front porch with two stab wounds to the left side of his face.

Police have a suspect but won't release his name until formal charges are filed. The suspect lives at the same residence with his girlfriend and the victim.

Zanesville Police are investigating a weekend stabbing incident. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says a 32-year-old Zanesville man was stabbed early Saturday morning around 4:15. A police officer found the victim along the roadway at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Keen Street. Roush the victim appeared to have stab wounds to both sides and the abdomen area. A New Concord man pleads guilty to stabbing his brother in law in February.

26-year-old David Phillips appeared Friday  morning in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court where he entered guity pleas to charges of aggravated assault and domestic violence.
 

Phillips was arrested on February 1st  when authorities say he was arguing with his wife at their home and stabbed her brother during an altercation.

 Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says his office is investigating a stabbing incident in New Concord. Lutz says it happened as a result of a domestic dispute between the brother of a female and her husband. The Sheriff says the husband was stabbed in the leg. Both men could face charges. No other details were released.
